樹脂で毛糸を閉じ込めるhi-dutchと樹脂で花を閉じ込めるdugudagiiとのアーティスト2名による合同展を開催致します。

本展の為に製作された合作や各アーティストとパシフィカコレクティブスがコラボした時計作品などを含む新作13点を展示致します。

“Trapped Freedom”
世界中が自由を奪われて行きたいところにも会いたい人にも自由に会うことが出来なくなってしまった現状はまさに樹脂に固められて動けなくなった毛糸や花々と同じ。でも作品から感じられる想いは不思議ととても自由な気分にさせてくれます。

「本展に寄せて」
あーでこーでって過程がまず凄く楽しかったので、そーゆー時は絶対ピースから感じれるんじゃないかと思っています。(dugudagii)

2016年頃から合作をいつか一緒に作ろう！！と話していたのでようやく今回発表出来るので楽しみです。緊急事態宣言中なので、見に来て下さい！と言い難いタイミングですが宜しくお願いします！(hi-dutch)

Hi-dutch | ハイダッチ
1972年生まれ。
サーフボードリペアのキャリアにより習得した樹脂を用いた技術を用いて、毛糸、木材、樹脂を合わせた表現を続けている。日本各地で作品展やグループショー、店内装飾などで作品を発表。また、アメリカ（サンフランシスコ、ロサンゼルス、テキサス、サンノゼ、ハワイ）香港、台湾（台北）オーストラリアなどのグループショーに参加するなど海外でも作品を発表している。

dugudagii | ドゥグダギ
1977東京生まれ。
2000年より独学により絵画、グラフィック制作を始める。2009年より樹脂による立体物の制作を開始.主に透明の樹脂に草花を封入し、形と封入された草花により構築した作品を発表している。

A new exhibition starts on May 14 2021 (Friday).The exhibition features two artists, hi-dutch who captures knitting wool into resin and dugudagii who captures flowers into resin.

There will be collaboration works between the two artists as well as13newcollaboration works for Pacifica Collectives, including a new clock series.

“Trapped Freedom”
Our freedom has been snatched away from us –– we are in a situation where we can’t travel or can’t see people who we want –– and this current state is exactly like knitting wool or flowers trapped in resin.However, these artworks strangely give us a feeling of freedom.

“It was a very exciting process when we were planning this exhibition.
When the process is exciting I believe that you can feel something from the piece.” (dugudagii)

“Since 2016, we have been talking about collaborating together so I am excited to show our works at this exhibition.It is hard for me to say “come and have a look” since we are in a stateofemergency but hopefully lots of people can show up.”
